Currently an A&R Scout for Columbia Records in New York and based in Boston, Nick Palmacci began as an intern in the infamous Columbia war room and has held his current post for the last 2 plus years now. At Columbia he brought indie-rock outfit Aberdeen City to the roster and continues his efforts there, now helmed by Rick Rubin.
In conjunction with his Columbia A&R responsibilities, Nick also serves as a day-to-day manager and label manager for Mark Kates' Fenway Recordings in Boston. Currently he is working with and serving as day-to-day management for The Cribs (WBR), Doves (Virgin/Capitol), Mission of Burma (Matador), Brooklyn's Foreign Islands (DD&B) and newly signed Columbia act MGMT, among others.
